Attractions

Weaverville and Trinity County Attractions

black_bartIf you like history then Weaverville has lots to offer. The Old West was home to Weaverville with saloons, gunfights and even a stagecoach robbery by the notorious Black Bart, a.k.a. Charles E. Boles. An old safe from those wild days is still displayed in a building that is now a restaurant as a reminder of Weaverville's Old West heritage. The downtown area of Weaverville still echoes with Old West history, and many of the small towns in Trinity County also reflect that heritage today.

Trinity County is full of attractions, historical locations, beautiful places and landmarks that still captivate people from all walks of life. Trinity County is also home to lots of logging and timber heritage which is displayed at many locations. Some of the great scenic attractions are located high up in the mountains and require hiking or horseback to access, but even though these locations are remote they are well worth the trip to see! Trinity County has much to offer in many different aspects so no matter what you enjoy... Trinity County has something for you!
